A simple, repeatable checklist to audit every page's meta tags, headings, and URLs in five minutes or less.
You can audit an entire page in 5 minutes. Do one page a day and you'll cover your whole site in a month. Here's the checklist:
1. Title tag: under 60 chars, keyword near the front. 2. Meta description: under 160 chars, includes call to action. 3. H1: matches page intent, one per page. 4. URL: short, includes keyword, uses hyphens. 5. Image alt text: describes the image, includes keyword if natural.
